Amaya Art Gallery
More than 25 years ago the Chilean painter Amaya Riva decided to install her home in Rapa Nui. Since then, the nature, culture and magic that this remote island emanates have inspired their art.
Amaya’s work is wide and her pictorial style is very varied. While his realistic images abound, he sometimes experiments with surrealism and hyperrealism, and sometimes plays with abstraction or naive style.
Among the most represented motifs are the landscapes of the Anakena beach, its flowers and native plants of great beauty and the symbols of Rapanui culture and mythology such as the moai, Make Make and the man-bird or tangata manu.
We invite you to visit his gallery where each work is unique and unrepeatable. You will find a wide range of beautiful images, including large format oil paintings, pastels, watercolors, acrylics and mixed media, as well as small and delicate inks on vegetal paper made of bamboo, banana or mahute bark that can be purchased from a very economical price.
Shipments can be made anywhere in the world. The works are prepared and protected conveniently so that they arrive in perfect conditions.
