Hotel Taha Tai

Taha Tai means “by the sea” in the Rapa Nui language, hence the name of our hotel. Built on the seashore, it is located a few minutes walk from the center and the Hanga Roa O’tai and Hanga Piko coves.

Our hotel has single, double, triple, inclusive rooms and bungalows. We have a spacious dining room with a terrace facing the sea to enjoy unforgettable sunsets, and a beautiful pool with a bar and surrounded by gardens with palm trees, trees, Polynesian flowers and sculptures made by local artists, where you can appreciate the beauty of Rapa Nui and enjoy of a sensation of unique peace and tranquility.

Bungalow rooms

The bungalows (for single or double use) offer the warmth of wood and a generous surface shared by the fully equipped bedroom and bathroom, as well as a pleasant outdoor terrace. They include free WiFi access, air conditioning, hair dryer and cable TV.

Standard rooms

The standard double rooms are configured with two single beds or one double bed. These two options are subject to availability at the time of your arrival, if you have any preference you can notify it when making the reservation and we will do our best to satisfy your needs. Overlooking the pool or garden, all standard rooms include free WiFi access, air conditioning, towels, hair dryer and cable TV.

Inclusive rooms

We have single and double rooms adapted for people with reduced mobility. Our inclusive rooms offer you a comfortable environment for your well-deserved rest. Inclusive rooms include free WiFi access, air conditioning, towels, hair dryer and cable TV.

Triple rooms

Triple rooms are configured with 1 double bed and 1 single bed or 3 single beds. You can choose between these two options when making the reservation. Overlooking the pool or the garden, all triple rooms include free WiFi access, air conditioning, towels, hair dryer and cable TV.

The Hotel Taha Tai offers a varied and rich breakfast, free parking and at its reception and the spacious living room, it has a varied store so you do not forget your souvenirs. We also have a round trip transfer service to the Mataveri International Airport and a traditional Rapanui welcome with a necklace of natural flowers.

Rapa Nui traditional dance show

On Tuesdays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., in the lounge of our hotel, you can enjoy one of our most iconic cultural expressions, the “Ori Rapa Nui”, while you enjoy our selection of cocktails and appetizers that we have for you. The Puku Rangi Tea Cultural Ballet shows the traditional music, dance and song of Easter Island in its show.
