Tehia Tour Rapa Nui
Our Story
Tehia Tour was born from the heart of two young Rapa Nui individuals who, after years of working in public institutions, decided to take a different path: to return to our roots and dedicate our lives to sharing the history and culture of our people.
Driven by the motivation of our mother and mother-in-law, who has worked in the tourism industry for more than 25 years, we began this journey with a strong commitment: to train ourselves, study, and constantly prepare in order to provide a safe, responsible service with deep respect for our land and our visitors.
The Meaning of “Tehia”
Tehia is the most important union in our lives.
Our children are the inspiration behind our project. Our logo reflects this meaning:
The boy represented by the sun
The girl represented by the moon, with her crown symbolizing her essence and spiritual connection
Tehia is not just a name; it is family, heritage, and future.
Our Mission
More than offering tours, we seek to share our living culture. We share not only what we have learned from books and training, but also the stories, experiences, and knowledge that our families have passed down from generation to generation.
Each tour is an invitation to discover Rapa Nui through the eyes of those who were born and raised here. Our commitment is that every visitor not only sees the places, but feels and understands them through their true cultural meaning.
Welcome to experience Rapa Nui with identity, respect, and heart.
